There is a wonderful man I met at the Fort Rodd hill show in Victoria BC last year, and I saw him again this year. This guy owns more than a dozen British cars………….there may be larger collections, but I can’t imagine owning more than one.
I’ll have to post my rant to the SAMOA (seattle mini owners association) concerning Lucas electrics. Seems a mouse had chewed a ground in lillibeth’s bonnet.
Finding the broken ground was a nightmare, because all ground wires are not black like here in the US….
I love my mini, but I know what I’m getting into. It was a wonderful piece of engineering, bitter sweet yes……..well you just have to own one.
we joked about what it takes to keep one on the road, if there is an electrical problem, check the tire pressure, won’t start, check the oil, problems with the electrics, maybe the seat isn’t adjusted right. They have their personality, and it’s hard to describe, that’s kinda the point of this blog.
